IRISH PERRY GENEALOGY |

Update: 2 June 2011. I have set up a Twitter account for anyone researching the Perry surname, but particularly for Perry DNA project information. Please follow us by clicking on the link below. This website contains details of the Irish Perrys that I am researching. Perry is not an Irish name, and as such all of those found in the historical record descend from settlers of the name, mainly from the 17th century. The earliest Perry found so far is from the early 1600s.
My own family come from Kilboy in Tippperary and problems with finding the parents of my brick wall ancestor, John Perry has led to the undertaking of this one name study. My aim is to find all of the original Perry settlers in Ireland and trace their descendants in the historical record. If you have arrived at this website looking for my old Vendyback website, then for now it has been taken down so that I can concentrate on my Perry research. I intend to put it back up at some point in the future, with details of other families that I am researching in England. Please contact me if you would like further details of any of these families.
